News - It’s Time to Switch from Conventional Lights to LED Lighting for Poultry Farm

In the last decade, LED lighting has rapidly been taking over the world of poultry lighting. Nevertheless, the conventional lighting is still being installed in a huge number of poultry houses across the world. Switching from the conventional lighting to high performance LED lighting improves farm results and more.

1.Higher energy efficacy

This is the amount of energy in Watt that is used to provide a specific amount of light output in lumens. Simply said: the higher the energy efficacy, the less electricity is needed. The energy efficacy of E-Lite LED lighting is more than 150lm/w, compare to the traditional fluorescent’s 80lm/w. The difference is 87.5%.
